Sir Coffin Graves - Book One

Jacob Davis led a simple life until everything he thought he knew changed. His girlfriend is murdered. His father is not who he says he is -- and Jacob discovers even his own life has been a lie. As he begins to unravel the truth that had been hidden, a truth which turns out to be more unbelievable than anything he could have imagined, he discovers a plot that has been unfolding against humanity for thousands of years . . . and he has been chosen to both expose and explode it. The dangers he faces are surpassed only by the measures he is forced to take to survive them. Sir Coffin Graves, Book 1, is the story of a young man confronted with the challenges of life, death and faith in a world that is nothing like he thought it was, where reality is a dream, and his dreams are the reality. He not only encounters the extraordinary, but he slowly becomes it.

The plot, characters, wit and suspense equal Dean Koontz and Stephen King...literally.

"A dark and mysterious plot is revealed quite early on in the novel. Once the book reveals that initial element of fantasy, the intrigue and complexity of the plot swells, assuring readers that things are just getting started. The descriptive powers of Leinad Platz are nothing to brush away, thanks to the author’s well-wrangled prose and flourishes of language. The characters are strong and the story arc is undeniably unique." Self-Publishing Review, 4 Stars

"His characters and settings come alive with graphic description, some of which are pleasant and loving, others of which are dark, menacing, disturbing and violent."

I must admit. I found the web of the dream sequences, brief interludes and conspiratorial historical events, broadened and added depth to the intriguing/fascinating/supernatural plot. I also sense a romantic twist has been born in this first installment. Wow...enjoyed the strong characters interactions and wit. I mature book with raw vivid imaginary. Can't wait to read book 2!
